When I was six years old my sister Diane was born (Feb 14, 1950). Immediately she was a joy to me providing a new companion and possible escape valve from Ronnie's torments. Of course he turned his attentions onto Diane, and began a campaign of harassment towards her. I became her defender and the "la lotta continua."

Having a sister was great.  First, she was a baby.  It was truly amazing to have a new baby in the house and to see her crawling about. As you can tell from the photo above, we were very close.
After a career as a photographer in London and Manchester in England, Diane taught photography at the college level in Buffalo and later moved with her husband to Las Vegas where she quickly became a central figure in the art scene there..
