I remember Sidney having his “Gunga Din” hat shown in the photo above, it had a neat green visor.  He had a good pair of binoculars (good for watching the ponies run at Batavia Downs), a neat liquor cabinet, a shaving mug with a shaving brush, many of the cool things men had in the forties.
