Bio

Jaqueline Lukowski, originally from San Diego County, California, has called the Southern Willamette Valley in Oregon home for nearly 35 years. And, although she has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember, it was only after having a career and raising a family that she began to pursue her love of art and in particular, landscape painting. She paints "en plein aire" as often as the weather allows, sometimes using those field studies as references for larger studio works. She usually paints in oils, but sometimes in watermedia including acrylics and gouache. She has won a number of awards for her work and is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and the American Impressionists Society. She is an active participant in the Plein Air Painters of Lane County in Oregon.
