About the Club
Club Macchia is a diverse group of artists, currently mostly painters but one sculptor and one photograher, who exhibit together under the "Club Macchia" banner seeking a common language in artstic expression. The group is inspired by the Risorgmento period in Italian art history when academic styles were losing ground to more experimental, free and expressive forms of artistic expression.
